Founded in 2005, the Entegra Power Group markets electric power from natural gas-fueled power plants. It owns and operates Gila River Power Station, Union Power Station and Trans-Union Interstate Pipeline. The group s power plants produce more than 2,000 mega watts of power. Its Gila River Power Station is connected to the Arizona transmission network and is spread over an area of more than 1,000 acres. The group s Trans-Union Interstate Pipeline directly interconnects with the Texas Gas Transmission Pipeline and Regency Gas Interstate Gas Pipeline in Louisiana. Headquartered in Tampa, Fla., the Entegra Power Group is owned by a consortium of major banks and private equity funds.
